In this project, we are studying crops that grow and reproduce in response to their environment, and modeling the patterns of their environmental responses based on genomic and environmental data. We are also working on the development of field phenomics techniques necessary for modeling, and modeling of non-biological environments such as day length and soil water content, as well as biological environments such as microbiota.
